Weather Channel Founder an Earth’s-Not-Getting-Anymore-Hot Head

300px-John_Chroma_key_1.jpgFox News enlightens us:

The founder of the Weather Channel is ridiculing Al Gore over his calls for action on global climate change, saying in a column that global warming is a “hoax” and “bad science.”

John Coleman, now a weatherman at San Diego’s KUSI, wrote on his station’s Web site Wednesday that Gore refuses to acknowledge the faulty research on which the idea of global warming is based.

We don’t know which is weirder – the founder of The Weather Channel working as a weatherman in the weather-free area of San Diego or a weatherman in the weather-free area of San Diego denouncing Global Warming.

It’s a bit like a science reporter (when we used to have them) touting creationism.

Stick to the facts, Coleman. Just tell people that the morning fog will burn off by 10am and the weather will be sunny and 74 along the coast and erring on the side of pollution makes you look tough.
