President Barack Obama is in town today. That’s why traffic is worse than normal. Hmf. Motorcades.

And to welcome our new overlord is the cover story on today’s City Beat with a piece about a group that thinks Obama is a lizard or something subversive with scales. Was this on purpose? No, according to editor Matt Fleischer said it’s a coincidence.

“There is lucky, there is good, and then there is City Beat. Today we are gods among men.” Fleischer told FBLA.

“Oh, and we challenge President Obama to come by the City Beat offices and prove he’s not leading a cabal of reptilian space invaders bent on world domination …and to sign some copies of the paper for us.”
