Wherefore Art Thou THR, Esquire?

As we said yesterday, we kind of dig The Hollywood Reporter’s new web makeover. But one thing we don’t dig, after a second inspection today, is that it’s nearly impossible to find our favorite blog on the site–THR, Esq., which chronicles Hollywood’s legal wrangles. In fact, with the new layout, it’s not very easy to access any of the blogs. The site has an “On the Blogs” box on the homepage, but it doesn’t have any links to the blogs themselves–only to the most recent four or five posts on the site. This means for a blog like THR, Esq., which only posts two or three times a day, its posts get swallowed up by its more voluminous neighbors like The Live Feed. Not sure if this is a calculated decision by THR to increase competition and get more posts out of its bloggers (which would be asinine) but whatever the reason, it ain’t workin’.

THR has some great blogs. A web redesign should put an emphasis on online-only content, not bury it. So more THR, Esq. please!
