Land a Feature Byline at Z-Life

Zumba Fitness published its first issue of Z-Life Magazine in the spring of 2010, and because the mag is so new, there are tons of opportunities to land a byline.

“Now that [Z-Life] is more established, we’re really looking to bring in regular writers and have pitches come in and expand the magazine,” said EIC Andrea Carneiro.

Just make sure your pitches are edgy and unique, as devotees of the fitness program are decidedly ahead of the curve. “If there’s a story that is going to fit really well in a more traditional health and fitness magazine, it’s probably not right for us,” she said.
