Heavy.com To Launch Heavy News; Condé Nast Cafeteria Bans Live Sumo Press Tour
Heavy.com the broadband video Web site known mainly for its Behind The Music That Sucks cartoon shorts among other teenage boy-focused fare is set to launch news.heavy.com that, judging by the locations of its "viral" publicity stunt slated for today, would look to appeal to an older set: the Today Show, Daily News, NY1, News Corp./New York Post, Michael's, Reuters, and CNN. The Heavy.com people had planned wrestling match for the Condé Nast cafeteria, but security at 4 Times Square apparently squashed the idea. Still planned for the rest of the tour: something called a "Loofah Dance." Here's the Heavy.com memo featuring the stops on today's itinerary:
