Attorney General Alberto Gonzales has resigned. Steven Lee Myers broke the story over at the New York Times. According to Myers, Gonzales offered his resignation to George W. Bush by phone on Friday.
Expect this story to dominate the day’s news cycles and for those crazy blogger kids to go nuts with this story. At the least, it’s going to be a busy day at Daily Kos and Free Republic.
