American Nurseryman Bought by Moose River Media

mrm07232010.jpgVermont-based B2B publisher Moose River Media — the company behind Turf, SportsField Management, Farming and other plant cultivation – related publications, has announced its acquisition of American Nurseryman Publishing. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Chicago-based American Nurseryman (“covering commercial horticulture since 1904″) publishes American Nurseryman magazine and books such as Pronouncing Dictionary of Plant Names and A Landscaper’s Guide to Perennial Flowers.

“American Nurseryman is an ideal addition to our portfolio of products and services,” stated Moose River CEO Korry Stagnito in a statement. “It extends our reach across the green industry supply chain and we’re confident that our readers and advertising partners will benefit from the synergy.”
