Anthony Weiner Favorites His Way to More Trouble

Some Carlos Danger‘s never learn.

Per a blog item by The Village Voice‘s Anna Merlan, disgraced New York mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner is today, also, a disgraceful Twitter user. You see, he didn’t apparently realize that everyone can view – unless an account is protected – his Twitter favorites:

At about 8 a.m. today, Anthony Weiner had 27 Twitter favorites. They included some tweets about hockey (he’s a fan) and some compliments on his new-ish BusinessInsider.com column (he writes about politics and hockey).

Oh, and at least six photos of this Orange County, California woman, who goes by ParisDylan550 on Instagram and ParisRoxanne0 on Twitter.

We don’t know much about Paris, except that she’s lovely. She poses not infrequently in her underwear and has some 41,000 Instagram followers who are thrilled every time she does.

Elsewhere, as noted by Merlan, a BuzzFeed reporter told his Twitter followers about another Weiner favorite involving Tinder. The aforementioned Twitter favorites were all, apparently, un-favorited first thing this business morning. Oye Wei!

And that Weiner tweet, above, was posted just before press time. Meanwhile, here’s what he told Merlan:

“Yep, there were a bunch of favorites there that I either didn’t recognize or mean to favorite. I’m not clear on how they got marked in the first place but I assume hit the little star thing accidentally as I scrolled through stuff.”

Update (October 25, 2014):
It doesn’t seem humanly possible, but another troublesome female tweet was favorited by the Weiner account. Gawker caught the deed and as a result of their coverage, the favorite was quickly removed.
