NPR West Vet Ben Bergman Sliding Over to KPCC

Culver City-based Morning Edition producer Ben Bergman is an active Twitter user, often sharing observations about men’s professional tennis and developing trends in the media.

This morning, it was also time for a major career announcement. After recent assignments such as heading to Hawaii with Renee Montagne to interview the Dalai Lama, he has decided to jump to Pasadena-based cross-town rival Southern California Public Radio (SCPR):

Bergman’s last day with NPR West will be September 5. After a short break, he will begin his new KPCC OC duties on September 17. Congrats.
