Borat Travel Guide To U.S. Of A Due This Fall

Our Galleykittens have the scoop on the long-rumored Borat book:

Scheduled for publication on November 6, BORAT: TOURISTIC GUIDINGS TO MINOR NATION OF U.S. OF A and BORAT: TOURISTIC GUIDINGS TO GLORIOUS NATION OF KAZAKHSTAN.

According to Doubleday publicity director Alison Rich, both titles monikers will appear on the book’s cover jacket and the material will be new, not tied-in to the film: “Intended as a faux tourist guide introducing Americans to Kazakhstan and vice versa, the book will feature photographs, text and illustrations.”

Will the Borat phenomenon translate to book sales a year after the movie? Considering how well the DVD has done, the one-note samba that is Borat has yet to show signs of burn out.
