BREAKING: Anna Nicole Smith , 39, Dead of Heart Failure

Anna Nicole Smith died of heart failure in a Florida hotel. TrimSpa might as well file Chapter 11 right now. Smith was named in a class-action suit filed against the diet pill company.

The paternity of Smith’s 5-month-old daughter had been unsettled, and now custody could be equally as confused. Smith’s son, Daniel, died in September, 2006.

Smith had gone from being a topless dancer to a Playboy Playmate, marrying an 89 year old millionaire along the way. Upon his death, his heirs tried to keep her from inheriting any significant part of the estate. She was awarded $474 million by a California federal court, but that judgement was overturned.

The U.S. Supreme Court revived her case, ruling that federal courts in California could deal with her case despite a Texas state court ruling that her stepson, E. Pierce Marshall, was the sole heir to the estate. Marshall died last June, but his family vowed to continue to the court fight.

FBLA recalls a producer of her E! reality series saying

All America wants for Anna Nicole is for her to lose weight and get the money. And then spend it.

Sadly, she lost the weight and got the money. But she didn’t live to spend it.
