Layoffs At CBS
FishbowlNY received a tip at 1:19 pm that CBS, which yesterday announced it was rebranding CSTV as CBS College Sports, ''just laid off about 40 people from CSTV, mostly on the TV side.'' A CBS spokesperson has been in meetings all day and did not get back to us for comment. Anyone with further information on this tip could email us at FishbowlNY@mediabistro.com.
Update: A CBS spokesperson has confirmed the layoffs via email o FishbowlNY.
