Capturing Iannis Xenakis’ Persepolis

Xenakis “Persepolis” from Devin Sarno on Vimeo.

If you attended Iannis Xenakis‘ “Persepolis” at the Cornfield on Saturday, then you’ll know that this video by local musician Devin Sarno doesn’t even come close to replicating the experience. That said, it’s kind of interesting in its own right. This was by far the best video rendering we were able to find on the Interwebz. And trust us, there were plenty. All you chumps who stood around with your cellphone cameras in hand should learn to relax and let the experience come to you–instead of trying to forcibly and unnecessarily capture it.

There you go: our Buddhist moment of the day at FBLA.
