Carrie Borzillo-Vrenna Signs Book Deal with Simon & Schuster

Journalist Carrie Borzillo-Vrenna has signed a deal with Simon & Schuster to write the ultimate guidebook on how to do everything, well, better. From the release:

It’s a girl’s guide with a difference–one that shows readers how to identify, go after, and get whatever they want in life, be it a hot guy, a great job, multiple orgasms, or a sexy new look.

Maybe she’ll have a section on “how to take a self-portrait in the bathroom”–and then photoshop the toilet out of the shot. Just a thought.

“This is the book I”ve always wanted to write,” says Borzillo-Vrenna. “There are so many books out there that give girls and women advice on living life, but there has never been a book that spoke to the girl who is a little bit edgier, a little bit tougher, a little bit more rock-and-roll. This book is for the girls who prefer black nail polish to French Manicures, who prefer the bad boy to the 9-to-5-er, and who would rather learn how to play guitar than learn how to play by the rules.”

On her MySpace page, there’s a contest to name the book.

FBLA votes for Road Maps for Life in the Fast Lane.
