Chris Matthews Curses Again

Another “sh*t” show on tap?

Earlier this week, Chris Matthews, in an apparent tirade against a segment (“We’re putting on shit”) focused on NYC Mayor Mike Bloomberg‘s move away from the Democratic party, got caught cursing on air. Oops. Matthews claims he “uses newsroom language too much.” He’s done this before — at least three times over the past year.

Over at Big Head DC, they’re claiming that Matthews wants executive producer Tammy Haddad fired. Haddad, remember, just won a Gracie Award.

So what does MSNBC have planned for today’s Hardball? Why, it’s another discussion of Bloomberg’s conversion, this time with fellow independent Ralph Nader:

Program Note

SECAUCUS, NJ — June 21, 2007 — Former presidential candidate Ralph Nader, will appear on MSNBC’s “Hardball with Chris Matthews” today at 5:00 p.m. (ET), repeating at 7:00 pm (ET). Nader, a Green Party candidate in 2000, has not ruled out another run for 2008. Among other things, he will discuss New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s switch from the GOP to “unaffiliated” and what his own plans may be for 2008.

Wonder what Chris thinks about that.
