Cover Battle: Architectural Digest or The Atlantic

Welcome back to another Cover Battle, FishbowlNY’s weekly post that asks readers to be as superficial as possible.

This week we have Architectural Digest versus The Atlantic. AD features Ralph Lauren looking as cool as a person can possibly look. Seriously, the only way this cover could make Lauren any cooler is if there was an explosion in the background. Don’t steal our idea AD.

The Atlantic went with an illustration of President Barack Obama. We’re supposed to be frightened by this cover, but really, we just keep thinking, “Man, this would be an awesome comic book!” Perhaps not the most mature reaction.

So readers, which cover is better? You can vote, comment or do both.
