Covering the DNC: Edwards Not Attending
TVNewser was on the conference call this morning for reporters covering the DNC. Governor Kathleen Sebelius confirmed that neither of the Edwards would be attending the Convention despite rumors that Elizabeth had been given a slot.
A full schedule of speakers will be released later this week, in the meantime Michelle Obama has been confirmed as the prime-time speaker for Monday, Hillary Clinton gets the Tuesday slot (no word yet on whether Bill fits in), and the yet-to-be announced VP nominee will make their debut on Wednesday (meaning we should be getting an email from Obama in the next tens days or so, or maybe it’ll be like a game show and we won’t know until they appear from behind curtain number two!). Obama will be giving his big stadium speech on Thursday. TVNewser has the full press release here.
