Deliver De Letter, De Sooner De Better, Part II
So — in the eleventh hour of Patrick Fitzgerald‘s grand jury, and the word on the streets is that there will be indictments, possibly as many as five. The targets have been informed. Today the indictments will be filed. Tomorrow, Fitzgerald will hold a press conference. Friday, his grand jury is set to expire. Quite a week!
This case has been amazing, weaving together the biggest stories from around the country and literally from across the globe, and reaching right up into the very top echelons of the White House. And that’s just the part that we know about. Will all the questions finally be answered? We’ll see. Whatever shakes down, it’s looking to be big.
In an ironic and sad coincidence, it appears that the Iraqi Constitution has passed, coinciding with another milestone: the 2000th U.S. death in Iraq.
