‘Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Freelancers’

Former Contra Costa Times religion reporter, Rebecca Rosen Lum pens a piece on California Progress Report about the state of freelancing.

She writes:

“Would I like to be a full-time journo and do what I love to do?” says one respondent. “Yes. Is that realistic now? No.”

Cracked another, “Mothers: Don’t let your babies grow up to be freelancers.”
