Doug Brod Joins TV Guide Magazine
Doug Brod, most recently the news director at Departures, has joined TV Guide Magazine as its executive editor. Previously, Brod had been with Spin as editor-in-chief, but was laid off last June as part of sweeping changes at the magazine.
“TV Guide Magazine has been a leading source of entertainment news for nearly sixty years, and we’re excited to welcome Doug to our team,” said TV Guide president and editor-in-chief, Debra Birnbaum, in a statement. “His pop culture expertise will be a tremendous asset as we continue to engage with our millions of readers on multiple platforms.”
