Two More Companies Jump on Fifty Shades of Grey Bandwagon

This coming Friday, seekingarrangement.com – a website that bills itself as the world’s leading connector of sugar daddies and sugar babies – will be hosting a sold-out party in downtown Los Angeles. With a twist:

The event will feature the “Fifty Shades” Masquerade theme, bringing together beautiful and glamorous women who want to find themselves a real “Christian Grey,” and the highest caliber of wealthy, successful men who are seeking their own “Anastasia Steele.” Masks will be required of all guests before 11 p.m.

Meanwhile, later this fall (November 20), Dallas-based publisher Ben Bella Books will release Fifty Writers on Fifty Shades of Grey,  a compilation from its pop culture imprint Smart Pop. Essayists include Marci Hirsch, a production executive at Vivid.

Editor Lori Perkins has collected 50 writers – including romance and erotica authors, BDSM dungeon masters, professors, lawyers, and adult industry professionals – to weigh in on the must-read series of 2012… Master R of BDSM training chateau La Domaine Esemar evaluates Christian Grey’s skill as a Dominant and offers some professional advice.

At this point, all that’s missing from the submissive media horizon is an essay on Politico about who Grey and Steele might vote for in November. On Monday’s episode of Katie, author E.L. James teased that she has a short list of ideal actors for the upcoming Hollywood film adaptation.
