Elizabeth Baker Keffer, president of Atlantic Media’s Atlantic Live  — the events arm of the magazine — has been promoted. She will now take on the additional role of president of Quartz Live and senior vice president/group publisher of live events. Baker Keffer will now be responsible for expanding events for the recently launched business site, Quartz. She will also oversee best practices for any live event programs across the company.

“Elizabeth is a superb leader and represents the gold standard when it comes to conceptualizing and executing content-rich events aimed at influential audiences,” said Atlantic Media’s president, Justin Smith, in a statement. “She and her extremely talented team will bring enormous value to Quartz Live. And the entire company will benefit from her expertise in applying the highest standards of editorial quality, organization, and production to events across all divisions.”

Prior to serving as president of Atlantic Live, Baker Keffer was publisher of The Atlantic and executive vice president of Atlantic Media Group.
