Emmanuelle Alt Named Editor-in-Chief at Vogue Paris

It looks like the rumors were true. Emmanuelle Alt has been tapped to replace Carine Roitfeld as Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Paris. Alt joined the magazine in 2000, mere months before Roitfeld. Alt had this to say about her new position:

It’s a great honor for me, but also a great pleasure to get to the head of Vogue Paris that I know very well. I will try to develop the incredible potential of Vogue Paris while working with very talented teams.

Alt will work with Deputy Editor Olivier Lalanne, who also oversees the male-targeted Vogue Hommes International.

Okay! Now that the nearly month-long drama has ended, we can all get back to focusing on what really matters: Obama’s toes.
