Sources tell us that Andrew Breitbart just caused a huge scene at the annual liberal Netroots Nation conference. Breitbart apparently showed up unaccredited with a camera crew in tow and tried to gain entrance. We’re told Breitbart did manage to get inside and was eventually escorted out by security. But not before scores of liberal bloggers angrily surrounded him. One apparently jammed a camera phone in his face and demanded to know if he’d ever had sex with a gay prostitute.
“Every conference has to have a Breitbart moment,” Slate’s Dave Weigel tells FishbowlLA. “The last one that didn’t was CPAC 2009.”
More updates to come.
*TPM reports Breitbart was denied credentials because he’s “not media.” Haha. Organizers said he was welcome to enter if he paid $100 for a ticket.
