Fox To Launch ‘Faith Films’ Aimed At Christians
Fox is expected to announce today a new film unit to produce films aimed at Christians. The new Fox Filmed Entertainment unit, Fox Faith, is expected to produce as many as a dozen films a year.
The News Corp.-owned studio is going after the same audience that rocketed Passion of the Christ to new box office heights.
The first, Love’s Abiding Joy, opens Oct. 6.
Included among the DVDs listed on the studio’s Web site are Cheaper By The Dozen, the Steve Martin comedy, and Garfield.
