GQ Adds Editor, Promotes Two

GQ has added Kevin Sintumuang as a multimedia editor and promoted two others. Sintumuang comes to GQ from The Wall Street Journal, where he served as features editor for its “Off Duty” section. Prior to his time at WSJ, he was a senior associate editor at GQ.

“Kevin worked here for years, so he has the GQ sensibility in his bones and knows the voice of the magazine,” said Jim Nelson, GQ’s editor-in-chief. “He is one of the best and most knowledgeable editors at creating lively, slightly irreverent, and authoritative lifestyle service, which is not easy to do, and which works extremely well on GQ.com. I like to think of his return as a no-brainer that will actually import a lot of brains.”

Sintumuang will join GQ on September 17.

Additionally, Ted Stafford has been promoted to fashion market director, and Will Welch has been promoted to senior editor, style.
