‘Gruesome’ Cuthbert Movie Poster Pulled From 1,400 Taxi Tops
After a barrage of phone calls to the Motion Picture Association of America, After Dark productions and Lionsgate Films, a poster for the upcoming Captivity is being removed from 1,400 New York City taxi tops. The poster features a “gratuitous depiction of the film’s star Elisha Cuthbert being tortured and killed.”
The above one seems entirely benign — hardly “gratuituous”; this one is slightly more questionable.
Billboards in L.A. for the film are also being removed, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Cuthbert, meanwhile, has come a long way from 24 and blogging about the NHL. She’s apparently Paris Hilton‘s new BFF.
