Per a report by The Hollywood Reporter‘s Lesley Goldberg, the upcoming Seth Meyers NBC late night talk show has found its main celebrity booker. She is Haleigh Raff, most recently performing those same duties for Piers Morgan Live:
Raff will lead the booking team when the Saturday Night Live alum takes over Jimmy Fallon‘s Late Night starting February 24 on NBC.
It’s the latest, impressive chapter in a very impressive career. We highly recommend, in light of this news, Michael Kane‘s Q&A with Raff from a few years ago in the New York Post. At one point in the conversation, Cleveland native Raff makes reference to a category of ideal talk show guest that once again also applies to the host:
“All the SNL guys were amazing. They were such a team. When Sandler would come on, Chris Farley would come down to 6A and hang around the green room cracking everyone up. Conan would come by, and they’d just start riffing. At that point, I wasn’t even working.”
In the Post interview, Raff also reveals the guest that took the longest to get a “yes” from – one and a half years. To find out who that is/was, click here.
