Hank Gilman Joins Reuters

Thomson ReutersHank Gilman, a veteran of Fortune for 16 years, is joining Reuters’ top news team. Gilman most recently served as a contributing editor for Inc. He previously served as deputy editor for Fortune and business editor for Newsweek.

“He [Gilman] will specialize on some of our biggest initiative stories — working in particular with new companies editor Eric Effron and finance editor Paritosh Bansal to take our corporate coverage to new levels,” wrote Reuters’ top news editor, Martin Howell, in a memo.

Gilman will join Reuters in September.

An earlier version of this post incorrectly stated that Gilman left Fortune to join Reuters. Gilman left Fortune in 2012.
