We kinda admire how Chris Hitchens is able to flirt with the Right while skewering it, just as he’s seemingly able to lambast the Left while embracing some of its “softer” values. To critics, it’s mostly infuriating, but, curiously, the Voice gives the Philip Morris poster boy a pass in its recent book review. But for real “I’m really not one of them, I just dine with them”-Hitchness, take a gander at this. Hey, Hitch, this part of Fishbowl is from Europe, too, but we suppose straddling the fence only really works if you sport The Accent a lot. The rest of us woulda gotten clobbered as “indecisive” and “opportunistic.”
