Hollywood People And Their Hobbies!

V Life, the Variety glossy magazine supplement which has been mailed to subscribers for a couple years, is now for sale as a stand-alone on newsstands. Which means that even if you don’t subscribe to Variety, you can find out what stars/moguls/executives like to do/buy/brag about doing and buying in their spare time. Also, you can see a truly frightening picture of Jeremy Piven playing drums while wearing a doo-rag and a Clash T-shirt.

Here’s my favorite passage, re: Nancy Juvonen, Drew Barrymore’s producing partner.

Doing her own thing is typical of Juvonen, in style and career choices. “I just follow my instincts,” she says. “I can stand behind that in a story, a casting decision or in what I’m wearing.” She recently traded in her serious black BMW for a jaunty Volkswagen Touareg.

Second-favorite, re: Jeffrey Katzenberg:

And, by the way, he’s still the ultimate multi-tasker who says things to his assistant like: “No, I don’t want to take time to eat before I leave. I’ll eat on the plane.”
