The 2011 edition of Hot 97′s Summer Jam was another sell out. More than 50,000 fans watched the biggest and brightest in hip-hop and R&B at the New Meadowlands Stadium last Sunday.

Among the headliners: Lil Wayne, Drake (shown performing together), Chris Brown, and Fabolous.

Rising stars, including Ricky Blaze, Big Sean, and Yelawolf, sang at the pre-show Hot 97 Festival Village stage.

And yes, what would Summer Jam be without the special guests? Diddy, Busta Rhymes, and Jadakiss were just a few of the many surprise artists.

Sunday’s Summer Jam made Internet history as the first radio station to live video webcast a concert on hot97.com in partnership with UStream. The show tallied 565,373 total streams throughout the day, with the premier hip-hop concert streaming live in 21 countries.

“It was a monumental success! Hot 97′s Summer Jam 2011 was a sold out full of energy, without incident and a lot of crazy, passionate fans and artists in one building,” says Alex Cameron, SVP, Market Manager of Emmis Communications. “An amazing event where history is made every year due to the incredible collaboration and effort of Hot 97 talent,  both off and on air.”
