Say Hello to HuffPost Live’s Testicle-Eating Little Friend

This is pretty impressive for a bizarre underwater creature that has been adopted by an NYC media company but has yet to be personally named.

HuffPostLivePacu

The scaly star in question is scheduled to appear on HuffPost Live this afternoon at 5:45 p.m. ET and currently has a hashtagged campaign rolling on its behalf. If you think you have the perfect name for this testicle-eating pacu creature adopted as a HuffPost Live pet, tweet the 24/7 content gang with the hashtag #pacu.

The cojones-coveting pacu (they have been known to mistake that part of the human anatomy for “tree nuts”) most recently turned up in northern New Jersey! It has also been spotted in Illinois, France and Denmark. The fish are Amazon River born and related to the piranha.

For what it’s worth, FishbowlNY’s suggestion for a name is DJ Nutz.

Update (6:30 p.m.):
Here’s this afternoon’s related HuffPost Live video. The pacu discussion starts around the four-minute mark. The winning name is 2Pac:
