TVNewser reports that MSNBC may well cleave into two in as short as 3 – 6 months. Apparently a “source with inside knowledge” says that the 99-year deal between NBC and Microsoft is “likely to end” based on the parties’ mutual desire to be released from the otherwise-pretty-ironclad contract.
