If You Pour Water on Them Do They Turn Into Monsters?

kitten600.jpgPeople love cute stuff. Not us so much — unless you count the “cuteness” factor of a martini at the end of a long day — but apparently much of America. According to the Times an entire empire has been built on cute with a leetle bit of an edge.

Case in point is cuteoverload.com, which started three years ago as a way for its designer to test web software. After some unlikely loving from Wonkette it became an “online institution,” drawing about 88,000 unique visitors a day. The site has just been turned into a page-a-day calendar that is currently topping its category on Amazon. And that is about a much cuteness as we can handle for today.
