Is it just us, or does the Ellie look like a big scary spider?

We couldn’t help but notice the resemblance of the coveted
Martha-Stewart-winning-Glamour-snagging-David-Remnick-collecting Ellie to the giant spider sculpture by Louise Bourgeoise that dominated the Rock Center courtyard in 2001. Uncanny. The Alexander Calder-designed Ellie is actually called “Elephant,” but we’re still gonna go with “big scary spider.”
