Jock Tic Tak Leaves Afternoon Post at 92.3 NOW

92.3 NOW (WXRK) afternoon DJ Tic Tak has left the station. He wrote, in part, on Twitter Friday, “Today is my last day at 923 Now FM.”

A CBS Radio spokeswoman confirms to FishbowlNY that Tic Tak, who began at NOW in March 2009, has done his final shift at the station.

The spokeswoman says Lil Cee is the interim host, with a formal announcement regarding afternoons forthcoming.

On the radio-info.com message boards, a man, purported to be Tic Tak, wrote, “…I made a decision about a month ago that I wanted to program, buy, build radio stations, and follow my dreams and that is what I am doing.”

The person, who also wrote that he turned 40 on Feb 22,  encouraged the staff to “make it happen.”
