Along with expressing tongue-in-cheek disappointment that @JustinBieber has a bodyguard doing his tweeting, the man who got his directing start way back in 1998 with an episode of The Larry Sanders Show delightfully entitled “Putting the ‘Gay’ Back in Litigation” is none too impressed with CNN’s devolution.

In addition to co-producing the 2004 comedy classic Anchorman, he cameo-ed in it as ‘News Station Employee.’ Still, if Will Ferrell started anchoring – as Ron Burgundy – stories on CNN like that of the Chilean miners’ rescue, we’d definitely tune in. (“How about that? That miner can tunnel ski!”)
