Jury Gives Keanu A Free Ride — Way To Go, Ted

Actor Keanu Reeves convinced a jury of his, well, peers that he had nothing to do with the paparazzi photographer’s injuries for which he was being sued, AP reportskeanu.jpg.

After deliberating for less than three hours, jurors unanimously rejected the civil lawsuit Monday, ruling that Reeves is not responsible for the photographer’s alleged injuries. Alison Silva had asked the jury to award him $711,974, which includes medical bills, lost wages and punitive damages.

Not to defend the paparazzi in this state, but it does say something about the walls that go up around celebrity. AP claims tha Reeves testified on the first day and never left the courtroom after that.
