With the World Cup kicking-off June 9, one figures New York media outlets will be previewing the international competition this week. One wouldn’t figure, however, that they’d tap Nobel Peace Prize winner and former head of state Henry Kissinger to do so.
Kissinger previews the World Cup for Newsweek:
Billions around the world will be glued to their television sets at all hours of the day and night; millions will find ways to interrupt their work schedules to watch at least some of the 64 matches. … I will be one of those viewers and have arranged my schedule to accommodate its necessities.
Next week in Newsweek, David Beckham previews the summer movie season.
