KNSD in San Diego Staffs Up

From the better late than never department. NBC’s local affiliate in San Diego KNSD announced last week they were hiring four new staffers. Included among the hires is USC Anneberg grad and former KTLA traffic reporter Nicole Gonzales (pictured). Gonzales most recently worked for KSL in Salt Lake City, where she won a Society of Professional Journalists Award for “Best Consumer Report.”

Other hires include Iraq and Afghanistan war veteran Lea Sutton, who will report on military issues, Chris Chan and Dina Guevara, who previously hosted the local cable show “Shades of San Diego.”
