In Case You Were Wondering: Reporter Susan King details all the cute little Disney homages in Enchanted. But if you were the type of person who wanted to read this story, you probably already knew all these winks and nods anyway.
Leftovers: True, this story is a few days old. But we just saw it, and this factoid is too good to ignore (plus, with refrigeration, we’re sure it’ll keep):
“Obama’s newsroom visit [to the Conway, N.H. Daily Sun] was marked by another oddity — the candidate was asked to autograph a refrigerator. Producing a magic marker, he complied, adding his name to those of Democrats Hillary Clinton, Bill Richardson and Chris Dodd and Republican Tom Tancredo.
The Sun intends to collect as many signatures from presidential aspirants on the appliance as possible during the buildup to the state’s primary. After the vote, the fridge will be auctioned on EBay, with proceeds donated to charity.”
Reporter By Day, Fanboy By Night: We have to hand it to Geoff Boucher. The guy has a knack for turning his hobbies into great stories that nobody else at the LAT would even think to report.
