Seema Mehta, following Sarah Palin on the campaing trail, reports today from Erie, Pa. that crowds booed the VP candidate when she told them, “I am thrilled to be here in the home state of the world-champion Philadelphia Phillies.” Turns out Erie is pretty divided between loyalties to the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Cleveland Indians. But to be fair, folks in Erie can practically see Philadelphia from their porches.
