Logo a GoGo

Thursday sees the launch of MTV’s gay-themed cable channel Logo. A couple program clips are available on the website. Prediction: the network’s break-out character will be ‘Chance’, the married Ivy Leaguer on the down-low in ‘Noah’s Arc’, a dramedy about gay African-American men in Venice, who, in the trailer, keeps repeating “I’m married.” Hooray for subtext! On the other hand, ‘Surfer Girls,’ about lesbian surfers, looks a little too earnest to connect with a non-surfing audience.

It’s also not at all clear from the website who, if anyone, will actually be able to watch Logo on Thursday. There’s a link to an ask-your-carrier-to-add-Logo email form, but that’s it.

In other news, in light of yesterday’s Supreme Court decision, the same-sex file-sharing network ‘Gaytella’ has been taken off-line.
