It may seem perilously close to the plot of the only Friends we've ever watched, but Jennifer Steil, a senior editor at The Week, is leaving her post of five-and-a-half years to take a job as the managing editor of the Yemen Observer newspaper in Sana'a, Yemen.

Her final day at the Dennis Publishing title is August 23. "I start at the Yemen Observer Sept. 2," Steil says.
