The latest issue of Black Book is all-music all the time, perhaps because it's the "Music Issue," but why quibble over details: the point is, if you like music and have some degree of ADD, you will love humming your way through the tunes referenced by artists including but not limited to dual cover models Usher and great Scots Franz Ferdinand, the non-White Stripes bro/sis duo the Fiery Furnaces, a beautifully photographed Cyndi Lauper, mycket bra Swedish rockers Dungen, DMC (is tha the same as Run DMC? Should I have admitted not knowing that?), Canadians Weird Al Yankovic and Shania Twain, and another Scottish favorite, the Bay City Rollers (perfect for any S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y Night!). Also special props to Neil Diamond, who rocked the guilty pleasure song of both production editor Amy Steinhauser ("I Am...I Said") and contributing photog, the weaned-in-Canada Nino Muñoz ("America").

Please note that guilty pleasures to actually feel guilty about include "We Built This City" by Jefferson Starship, "Kokomo" by the Beach Boys, that "Boom Boom Boom, Let's Go Back To My Room" song and anything by Terence Trent D'Arby (I'm talking to you, Nick Zinner). If even I think so, you know they must be awful.

Also: Apparently Killers lead singer Brandon Flowers is a fan of Hall & Oates. Join the club, buddy.
