Martha Stewart is launching a magazine, just in time to fill the hole in her schedule left by the non-renewal of "The Apprentice" by NBC. AdAge's Nat Ives reports that Martha's Omnimedia will be launching Blueprint, a shelter mag for thirtysomethings looking to buy their first homes. The mag is planned for a May debut with a circulation of approximately 200,000 according to Ives, who speculates that Blueprint could give Condé Nast's seven-month old Domino a run for its money (also, what about Cali-based Dwell Magazine, which won an Ellie alongside Martha back in April? That's got more of an architecture slant but there's definite overlap). Blueprint will also have a lifestyle component (with obvious synergies with Martha's line of home products), plus fashion tips (insert months-old "how to wear your ankle bracelet" joke here). Another magazine, whee! If we had a house to go with it, we'd be set.
