After something of an identity crisis, it looks like Travel Savvy has decided what it wants to be: a travel magazine, but with "lists that matter." The background: Grey Goose creator Sidney Frank bought the mag in February with the intention to revamp and relaunch as "Tenz," a magazine of celebrity Top 10 lists. That "Z" thing gets 'em every time. But now Travel Savvy, formerly positioned as a kind of "Budget Living" for the travel generation between "Let's Go" backpackers and Arianna Huffington, is apparently relaunching as a more upscale version of itself. New EIC Jill Brooke, who replaces Keija Minor , writes in her Editor's Letter that the new mag's mission is to "to provide readers access to the best of everything travel has to offer, from hotels to haute cuisine, adventure to fashion, destinations to design," presumably still with lists (Spy co-founder Steve Schragis was replaced with Craig Pavia as publisher). It's all on their just-updated website. We still kind of miss the "Z" but the double "V" is always fun. Good luck, Travel Savvy!
