On December 12, Mediabistro’s parent company WebMediaBrands will be hosting an all-day Social Curation Summit at the Marina del Rey Marriott. Scheduled events include a morning keynote by magnify.net CEO Steve Rosenbaum and panels moderated by our blog network colleagues Jason Boog (Galley Cat, App Newser) and Devon Glenn (Social Times).
Though the event is still a few months away, today is the deadline for getting a huge discount on the registration fee. Anyone signing up for the Summit by midnight ET tonight will pay just $129 rather than $449. That’s a savings of $320!
Snip.it allows users to easily “snip” content – videos, images, and articles – and share your opinions with the world. Before founding Snip.it, Ramy was a principal at Khosla Ventures, working closely with the legendary investors Vinod Khosla and Pierre Lamond. There, he worked on a number of investments including Square, Groupme (acquired by Skype), and Ness Technologies where he is currently an advisor.
The event is also designed to allow for networking during coffee breaks, lunch and an early evening cocktail reception. To learn more about early-bird registration, click here.
