Martha Stewart will be the lunch keynote speaker at the eighth annual BlogHer conference. The weeklong event is being held here from August 2nd through August 5. Stewart’s speech will be on August 3. Stewart will be taking part in a conversation with one of BlogHer’s co-founders, Elisa Camahort Page.

“We are excited to sit down with Martha and learn how she drives innovation in the worlds of publishing, media, and commerce,” said Page, Jory Des Jardins and Lisa Stone, BlogHer’s co-founders, in a statement. “Martha is constantly moving the needle, and her early, authentic adoption of technology and social tools is just one example.”

“I admire how quickly BlogHer has become a major force and a key influence around both kitchen tables and boardrooms,” said Stewart. “In forming BlogHer, Elisa, Jory and Lisa have harnessed technology to create a powerful network and to empower the talents of thousands of entrepreneurs.”

This year’s event is expected to attract about 4,000 attendees.
